THE CHALLENGE
ANIMA needed a digital space that truly reflected its impact in Filipino entertainment. With a rich catalog of films, series, and podcasts, the website had to feel like an extension of their work—bold, immersive, and visually compelling. More than just a website, it had to be a stage for ANIMA’s growing legacy in Filipino entertainment.
THE GOAL
The Webflow-powered website is designed to highlight ANIMA’s films, series, and podcasts with a dynamic CMS. A dedicated press release page keeps audiences updated, while film and series pages showcase cast, crew, synopsis, and awards. The podcast section includes embedded playback, creating an engaging hub for ANIMA’s diverse storytelling.

The process
Custom Code: Dynamic Grid Sizing
The film and series page features a dynamic grid that helps organize visual hierarchy. Custom code adjusts the size of each component based on set CMS attribute, allowing ANIMA to control how projects are prioritized. This ensures key films and series get the attention they deserve while keeping the layout structured and balanced.
Custom Code: Swiper.js Integration
The CMS includes smart toggles that make managing content effortless. The Featured Rank toggle controls if a story appears in the hero section or secondary and tertiary featured spots—automatically keeping it out of "More Stories" for a clean layout. These simple controls give precise control over content display without extra work.
About ANIMA: Bold and Beautiful with micro interactions
The About page introduces ANIMA with layered animations and interactive elements that add depth without distraction. Hover effects, entrance animations, and an infinite marquee create a sense of movement, making the page feel engaging. A well-structured layout balances text, imagery, and emphasis, ensuring their journey is clear and visually compelling.
Films & Series
ANIMA’s film and series pages bring each story to the forefront, whether it’s a sweeping epic or a character-driven drama. Trailers offer a quick glimpse, while each project showcases the talented cast and crew. Every project reflects ANIMA’s commitment to authentic storytelling, crafted by passionate creators.
Podcasts
ANIMA wanted a space to highlight their diverse range of podcasts. The page features a Spotify embed for easy listening and showcases the hosts behind each show. With a mix of genres—from horror to comedy to deep dives into pop culture—it reflects the variety of voices that make up ANIMA Podcasts.
