THE CHALLENGE
SAYA Agency, a rising growth engine based in Singapore, wanted a place to share their insights on culture and community, and their impactful relevance to business growth. They needed a platform that could handle everything—articles, interviews, podcasts, reports, and marketing—all in one spot. A custom solution was the best way to create a space that truly reflected SAYA’s mission of blending strategy, culture, and community.
THE GOAL
Built on Webflow, the platform is a dynamic editorial hub with a streamlined CMS. Only a single object type handles articles, podcasts, and more, for flexibility with custom fields to differentiate each. Smart toggles manage visibility, rich text powers content, and micro-interactions enhance and complement the brand experience.

The process
Website Design: Consistent and scalable design
Worked closely with renowned illustrator and designer Sophia Chang (@esymai), who was already leading SAYA's branding. I refined her existing designs and built a structured design system in Figma and Webflow using styles and variables to ensure consistency across the site and make development easier.
CMS Powered Site: Flexibility without compromise
The CMS is built for flexibility, handling all content types—articles, podcasts, and more—within a single structure. Fields for categories, tags and authors are already set to be reference fields ensuring easy sorting and future scalability to create further pages with existing data. Custom meta descriptions are built in for SEO, keeping the platform optimized. This setup balances simplicity and forward-thinking design, making growth seamless.
Smart Toggles: Simple, powerful controls
The CMS includes smart toggles that make managing content effortless. The Featured Rank toggle controls if a story appears in the hero section or secondary and tertiary featured spots—automatically keeping it out of "More Stories" for a clean layout. These simple controls give precise control over content display without extra work.
Micro-interactions: Tiny details, big impact
Subtle interactions make the experience feel seamless and intuitive. On hover, posts dynamically display “Read,” “Watch,” or “Listen,” matching their medium for quick recognition. The navbar smoothly slides in and out as users scroll and dynamically changes the background, keeping the interface clean yet accessible. These small touches enhance usability while reinforcing SAYA’s polished, intentional brand experience.
